Introductions: It's a programs but sponsored by Rocky Horror Picture Show "sweet translucent dreams" and a few others to go in there speak about stop bullying step up and say no to drugs respect the authority who would like to have a change for their kids future now I am willing to volunteer my time to benefit the youth in the future of our area to better it to bring a better outcome..... so if you support this decision please like and comment on this post so your voices can be heard what you think is best for your children at this school district and maybe this school district can be the open doorway for other school districts for this program to be held at and see where it goes in the honor of David MidasI valid to keep his memory alive out of respect for the Dare programs but since only law enforcement officers are permitted to do that program I feel it is my duty as a civilian and a concerned person for the community that I live in and for my child I would like to assist and help others to set a better example yes and you may not like me may not approve of me but give it a chance and let me prove you differently that I can help the community of the Panther Valley area.... OUR PROGRAM HAS TO OFFER: Now what our program has to offer is to support and be peer counselors to sit there and explain day-to-day the wrongs in the right decisions how every decision you make in life has a consequence or a better outcome we The straight edge program would like to sit here work one-on-one with the children to better brighter future yes we understand there's certain hotlines out there that you can call for bullying or suicide but we want to take the time in the effort to go and talk to these children if there's a problem at home or a problem at the school we can give him a better outlook on how to resolve it peacefully without destroying one another now for example you can sit here and take it a kid could have a good night keys and the other kid couldn't so he's getting bullied because of that or of their gender or their preference on they like girls or guys whatever the case maybe we want to sit there and explain it's okay to feel them way but it's not okay to take it out on people if you need someone to talk to you can relate to the people that have been in these situations real life experience now I can't speak for most from law enforcement that does the Dare program we're here to stop and teach these kids what drugs can do get that but let me ask you this as any of these officers of the law ever smoked marijuana I'm going to probably say they probably tried it in their kid teen years has anyone ever tried heroin and know what the outcome of how it hurts that person that is doing it and how it rips the family apart or maybe someone who's been bully themselves and they can't relate to that because they cannot be bias no unfortunately we can speak this because my associates and I have lived these experiences for example I've seen what the inside of a jail looks like because I've only staff in school my other associates can speak their examples of what they've done and where is led them down the wrong path that they regret it's about the choices we make that I want to sit there and guide these students to do a better thing have better lives have better future have a better career have something of course at the end of the day to work together and build each other up not tear each other down to no ends now if you can't trust an officer or teacher or staff member or parent you have to have someone to talk to so letting it build inside because once you let it go that far there's always a negative result that will come out and implode and everybody now I can't speak truthfully on that part but I'm witnessed it my end I've turned to do positive things negative and I'm hoping that my associates and I can sit here and setting example cuz I was always told you lead by example first you need to set the example if you want something earn it! Credentials: Now we have taking it to the street and talk to local parents and they think this is a great idea we have spoke to Lansford borough Police Department, assistant district attorney Michael Greek himself, we have spoke to a lieutenant at the Schuylkill County Correctional facility also he resides in the Panther Valley School district, we have spoke to Carbon County children youth services we've also spoke to Carbon County adult probation Department we smoked with Lansford fire company, most of them have given their consent to this the support The straight edge program to be placed into the school district.
